Andhra Pradesh, Srikakulam, April 26: In a strong show of preparedness and coordination, Visakhapatnam Range DIG Sri Gopinath Jatti, IPS, conducted a thorough inspection of the security arrangements ahead of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to Srikakulam district.
On Saturday, DIG Gopinath Jatti, accompanied by Srikakulam District Superintendent of Police KV Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, personally reviewed the district police’s security deployment at key locations in Budagotlapalem, Echerla Mandal.
As part of the inspection, detailed briefings were provided to the DIG regarding the Bandobast plan, officer deployments, sector in-charges, and specific security protocols arranged for the Chief Minister’s itinerary. The DIG and SP visited crucial points including the Helipad, Sabha Vedika (meeting venue), gatherings with beneficiaries, interactions with party activists, and the Amma Temple, meticulously examining all security measures in place.
DIG Gopinath Jatti emphasized the importance of vigilance, instructing officers to ensure smooth vehicle parking management, maintain strong coordination among sectors, and avoid any traffic disruptions during the VVIP visit. Sector in-charge officers were directed to keep their teams on high alert and execute their duties with utmost responsibility until the conclusion of the Chief Minister’s program.
