Uttar Pradesh, Balrampur, April 28, 2025: In a proactive step to curb suspicious and illegal activities near the Indo-Nepal border, Balrampur Police, under the direction of Superintendent of Police Balrampur, organized an awareness meeting with members of Village Security Committees under ‘Operation Kavach.’
The meeting was held in the Belwa, Mahmoodnagar, and Lakhori areas within the Haria Police Station limits. Officers sensitized committee members on maintaining vigilance, identifying suspicious activities, and immediately alerting the police.
By strengthening the partnership between police and local residents, Balrampur Police aim to enhance border security and prevent any unlawful activities effectively. The initiative reflects the department’s commitment to community policing and maintaining peace and security along the sensitive border region.
