Andhra Pradesh, Eluru, April 29: In a major blow to drug trafficking networks, the Eagle Team of Eluru District Police, in close coordination with Jangareddygudem Police, carried out a successful narcotics operation resulting in the seizure of 394.8 kg of ganja. The operation also led to the arrest of five individuals, and the confiscation of two vehicles and four mobile phones used in the illegal activity.
The estimated value of the seized contraband is ₹39.48 lakh, marking this as one of the district’s most significant crackdowns on narcotics in recent times.
Commending the efforts of the police personnel involved, DGP Shri Harish Kumar Gupta, IPS, stated, “Kudos to the Eagle Team and Eluru District Police for their swift action against drug trafficking.
