Kerala, Kannur: In a commendable move to strengthen community engagement and combat the rising threat of drug abuse, the Kannur Rural Police is set to host the “Knock out Drugs” Football Tournament as part of its ongoing anti-drug campaign.
The tournament, scheduled for May 13 and 14, aims to foster awareness and unite people from all walks of life in the fight against narcotics. By encouraging active youth participation through sports, the initiative seeks to channel energy into healthy, constructive pursuits while spreading a strong anti-drug message.
Matches will be held at Kolapram Ground, near the Pariyaram Police Station, beginning at 4 PM each day.
The initiative reflects the proactive approach of the Kannur Rural Police in addressing social challenges through inclusive and engaging methods, emphasizing both prevention and community partnership.
