<![CDATA[A 15-year-old city girl,suspected to have been kidnapped, was found in Mumbai after a 40-day search. The girl had gone missing from Nizampet last month. Poornima Sai, the Class 10 student, had gone to school on June 7 but did not return home. Her parents approached the police who registered a case. According to Bachupally police station inspector Mr. K. Balakrishna Reddy, the girl was in a government-run home for orphans in Mumbai for the past 30 days. “She introduced herself with a different name and stayed there for a month. The management of that organisation informed the local police about the girl, who in turn enquired the girl about her home ,” the official said. Poornima told the police that she was from Tukaram Gate in Hyderabad. The Hydrabad city police communicated with the Mumbai police about the missing child. Mr. Reddy said it was not yet known how and why the girl went missing. The child’s parents have left for Mumbai to bring her home, while the police hoped to learn more about the girl’s journey to Mumbai on Monday.]]>
