<![CDATA[A minor girl from Miryalaguda was traced by the II-Town police, one month after she went missing and five persons, including the girl’s father were arrested on Saturday in this connection. According to the police, the girl, Swapna, 14, was allegedly kidnapped by N. Sudharani on June 1, after the girl’s father, B. Krishna struck a deal with the woman for Rs. 5,000. The father is an alcoholic and he also had ‘illicit affair’ with Sudhrani, . Sudharani acted as Swapna’s mother all through their travel, to Goa, Jagayyapeta and Ponnur in Guntur district, where she was finally arrested by the police. Two persons who allegedly wanted to ‘buy the girl’, Maloth Pavan and Mohammed Wahed were arrested and another Maloth Jawahar is absconding. The one-month-long search was successful after three police teams were formed for the hunt, Deputy Superintedent of Police Mr. Surabhi Ram Gopal said.
