Erode, Tamil Nadu, July 12: In a decisive operation against narcotics, the Erode District Police, under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Ms. Sujatha, carried out a targeted raid in the Panikampalayam area of Perundurai, acting on credible intelligence inputs.

The raid was launched based on confidential information that illegal storage and sale of banned substances, including ganja, were taking place in localities predominantly inhabited by migrant workers from northern states. SP Sujatha, along with Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr. Shanmugam and his team, personally oversaw the operation to ensure thorough enforcement.
