Siwan, Bihar, July 12: In a major crackdown on illegal liquor trafficking, the Special Operations Team of the Bihar Prohibition Unit, in coordination with Mufassil Police Station, successfully intercepted a ten-wheeler truck transporting 5797 liters of illegal foreign liquor (IMFL) into the state.
Acting on reliable intelligence, the team carried out the raid on July 12, 2025, in Siwan district and seized the consignment. Two accused individuals were arrested on the spot.
This operation underscores the continued commitment of Bihar Police to enforce prohibition laws and curb the inflow of illicit liquor into the state.
