Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh: To ensure the peaceful and safe conduct of Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations across the district, the Srikakulam Police have taken proactive measures and engaged directly with festival organizers.
Special coordination meetings were held with members of the Ganesh Utsava Committees, where detailed instructions were given on rules, regulations, safety measures, and precautions to be followed at mandapams.
DSP D. Lakshmana Rao personally interacted with organizers under Tekkali Urban Police Station, urging them to conduct the festivities in a peaceful and disciplined manner. In addition, several police officers visited villages to meet local committee members and brief them on necessary safety arrangements.
Police officials appealed to the public to extend full cooperation by adhering to the safety guidelines and maintaining harmony during the celebrations.
