Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh: In view of the upcoming Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations on August 27, the Srikakulam Police have intensified security arrangements across the district to ensure that the festival is conducted in a safe and peaceful manner.
On the instructions of District SP Sri K.V. Maheshwara Reddy, I.P.S., police officers and personnel visited various mandapams where Ganesh idols were installed and thoroughly inspected security measures on Wednesday.
During the inspection, police officials interacted with committee members and emphasized the importance of following prescribed safety guidelines. They urged organizers to conduct the celebrations with devotion, discipline, and caution to avoid any untoward incidents or disputes.
The public was advised to cooperate with the police, celebrate harmoniously, and in case of emergencies, immediately contact Dial 112. Officers also reminded that during idol immersion, all safety protocols and rules set by the police department must be strictly followed.
This proactive initiative by the Srikakulam Police reflects their strong commitment to community safety and smooth conduct of religious festivities.
