Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh: Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police Harish announced that the state police have undergone the most advanced training in its history, with a special focus on combating drugs. Officers have been trained to detect narcotics, including marijuana, as part of the state’s comprehensive strategy for a drug-free society.
The DGP said that intensive surveillance and inspections are being carried out across the state to curb drug trafficking. He further highlighted that the use of modern technology has not only strengthened law enforcement but also contributed to a noticeable reduction in crime rates.
This initiative reflects the Andhra Pradesh Police’s commitment to public safety and its determination to eliminate the drug menace from the state.
