Champawat, Uttarakhand: In line with the directions of Superintendent of Police, Champawat District, Shri Ajay Ganpati Kumbhar, the Lohaghat Police Station organized a comprehensive awareness program on September 18, 2025, at the Town Hall, Lohaghat.
The initiative, held under the supervision of Mr. Shivraj Singh Rana, Circle Officer and led by Inspector-in-Charge Ashok Kumar Singh, aimed to educate senior citizens, women, and the general public on preventing crimes against women, cybercrimes, and other offences.
Citizens were advised to avoid clicking on suspicious links, refrain from sharing personal or banking details, and remain alert against OTP, lottery, romance, and social media scams. People were also encouraged to use the Uttarakhand Police App and reach out to helpline numbers 1930, 1090, and 112 for assistance.
This proactive effort highlights Champawat Police’s commitment to ensuring public safety and cyber awareness.
