Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, October 2025: District Superintendent of Police Sri K. V. Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, has urged all vehicle riders to strictly wear helmets and follow road safety regulations to prevent accidents and save lives.
As part of visible policing and road safety enforcement, the Srikakulam District Police have intensified checks across the district and are imposing fines on violators of traffic rules. Simultaneously, awareness programs are being conducted to educate motorists and the public on the importance of adhering to traffic safety norms.
SP Maheshwara Reddy emphasized that wearing helmets is not just a rule but a lifesaving habit. He appealed to the public to cooperate with the police by following road safety measures and ensuring a safer environment for all road users.
