Balodabazar, Chhattisgarh, October 18, 2025: Demonstrating prompt and effective policing, Gidhpuri Police successfully arrested four accused, including one juvenile, involved in a serious assault incident that took place in village Sundaravan under Gidhpuri Police Station limits in Balodabazar District.
The incident occurred when the complainant requested the accused to honk and give way. Enraged by this, the accused used obscene language and attacked the complainant and his relatives with fists, bricks, and sticks, causing serious injuries and issuing life threats.
Upon receiving the report, Gidhpuri Police acted swiftly, registering a case and forming a special team. Through efficient investigation and local intelligence, the police managed to trace and apprehend all four accused within 12 hours of the incident.
The arrested individuals have been identified as:
Yogesh Puraina (30), resident of Village Sundaravan.
Ricky alias Rakesh Puraina (26), resident of Village Sundaravan.
Ramkishun DD (28), resident of Village Sundaravan.
One juvenile (name withheld as per law).
