Thiruvarur, Tamil Nadu, October 22: A Public Grievance Redressal Meeting was conducted at the Thiruvarur District Police Office on Wednesday under the chairmanship of District Superintendent of Police Mr. Karun Karat, IPS.
As part of the district police’s continuous efforts to ensure transparency and accessibility, such grievance meetings are organized every Wednesday to provide a direct platform for the public to voice their concerns and seek timely resolutions.
During today’s session, eight petitioners attended the meeting to present their complaints in person. SP Karun Karat, IPS, personally received the petitions, listened carefully to the grievances, and issued appropriate directions to the concerned officers for necessary action.
The initiative aims to strengthen public trust in policing and ensure that citizens’ issues are addressed promptly and fairly.
