Thiruvarur, Tamil Nadu: The Thiruvarur District Police continue their strong crackdown on illegal and harmful substances. During a targeted raid conducted in the Valangaiman Police Station limits, police arrested two individuals for hoarding gutka items in a stall. A quantity of gutka was seized from their possession.
District Superintendent of Police Mr. Karun Karat, IPS, appreciated the efficient efforts of the Police Inspector and the team for promptly identifying and acting against the offenders involved in smuggling activities.
The SP also issued a stern warning that strict legal action will be taken against anyone involved in crimes such as selling ganja, gutka, or illicit liquor, all of which pose serious risks to public health and safety.
The Thiruvarur Police reaffirm their commitment to keeping the district free from harmful substances through continuous vigilance and enforcement.
