Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh: In an effort to reduce crime and ensure a peaceful environment, the Srikakulam District Police conducted counseling sessions for rowdy-sheeters and habitual offenders across multiple police station limits in the district on Sunday.
Acting on the instructions of District Superintendent of Police Sri K.V. Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, police officers organized coordinated counseling programmes on Sunday, targeting individuals with a history of involvement in criminal activities.
During the session, police officers advised rowdy-sheeters and other habitual offenders to abandon unlawful behavior and refrain from engaging in crimes, clashes, and illegal activities. Officers emphasized the importance of responsible conduct, social harmony, and lawful livelihood, urging the individuals to make positive changes for their families and society.
The initiative forms part of the district police’s ongoing strategy to prevent crime through monitoring, counseling, and community-based engagement.
Police officials stated that such preventive measures will continue to be implemented to maintain peace and ensure public safety throughout the district.
