Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, February 4, 2026: As part of the people-friendly policing initiative, a Public Grievance Redressal Camp was held at the Tirunelveli City Police Commissioner’s Office, where City Police Commissioner Dr. N. Manivannan, IPS, personally heard the grievances of the public.
During the camp, 18 individuals submitted their complaint petitions. The Commissioner assured them that appropriate action would be taken and that their issues would be resolved in a fair and timely manner. The initiative reflects the commitment of Tirunelveli City Police to responsive and accountable policing.
Deputy Commissioners of Police Dr. C. Madan, IPS (West), and Shri S. Vijayakumar (Headquarters) were also present and extended support in addressing the grievances.
The camp was well received by the public, who appreciated the accessible approach of the police leadership in directly listening to citizens’ concerns and ensuring prompt redressal.
