Muzaffarpur, Bihar: In a significant judicial outcome, the Honorable Court sentenced Subhash Kumar, the accused in a murder case, to life imprisonment along with fines, following the evidence and charge sheet presented by the Muzaffarpur Police.
The court ruled that Subhash Kumar would serve life imprisonment under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, along with a fine of Rs.50,000. In case of non-payment of the fine, an additional six months of imprisonment will be enforced. Furthermore, the accused was sentenced to three years of rigorous imprisonment under Section 201 of the Indian Penal Code for evidence tampering, along with a fine of Rs.5,000, with an additional six months’ imprisonment if the fine is not paid.
