Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu: In a commendable act of prompt service, Railway Police successfully recovered and returned a lost bag containing gold jewellery to its rightful owner.
Zainulabdeen (28), a resident of Parangipettai in Cuddalore district, had accidentally left behind his bag on Platform No. 3 at Dindigul Railway Station while boarding the Mahal Express train to Chidambaram. After realizing the mistake, he immediately informed the Dindigul Railway Police Station.
Acting swiftly, a police team led by Inspector Veerammal, along with police personnel Raja Chandrasekaran, Marutharaja, Vijayakumari, Dhanapushpam, Lokesh, and Saranya Devi, conducted a thorough search and safely recovered the bag containing approximately 28.5 grams of gold jewellery, including rings, chains, and earrings.
The recovered belongings were later handed over to the owner, who expressed gratitude to the Railway Police for their timely assistance. Passengers and members of the public also appreciated the sincere and efficient action taken by the police personnel.
