Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh: District police conducted special counselling sessions for rowdy-sheeters with criminal backgrounds across Srikakulam town and various police stations in the district on May 17.
The programme was organized under the directions of District SP Sri K.V. Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, with the objective of encouraging individuals with criminal history to stay away from unlawful activities and lead a disciplined life.
During the counselling sessions, officials advised participants to avoid crimes, unnecessary clashes, antisocial activities, and harmful addictions. They were encouraged to adopt good behaviour and maintain peace in society.
Police also warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone found violating police instructions or engaging in criminal activities in the future. Authorities clarified that surveillance on habitual offenders would continue to ensure law and order in the district.
