Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh: Ms. Anupam Kulshreshtha officially assumed charge as the Additional Director General of Police, Kanpur Zone, and subsequently conducted a detailed inspection of various branches within the zonal office.
During the inspection, she reviewed operational procedures, office discipline, coordination systems, and record-maintenance practices across sections including the Confidential Branch, Head Clerk’s Office, Reader’s Office, Control Room, and Social Media Cell. She also interacted with officers and staff members to gather necessary information regarding their functioning and responsibilities.
The newly appointed ADGP issued directions emphasizing transparency, punctuality, accountability, and sensitivity in official duties. She instructed personnel to ensure timely collection and monitoring of law and order information, maintain vigilance over misleading or objectionable social media content, and take prompt coordinated action whenever required.
She further stressed the importance of discipline, confidentiality, administrative efficiency, and a responsive work culture focused on effective public service and swift handling of matters concerning citizens.
