Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh: ADG Kanpur Zone Mrs. Anupam Kulshreshtha conducted a surprise inspection of Kotwali Police Station in Auraiya to review policing standards, public service delivery, and law-and-order preparedness.
During the inspection, she examined the station office, lock-up, CCTNS room, CCTV control room, malkhana, and overall station premises, assessing record maintenance, cleanliness, and security arrangements. She issued necessary directions for the timely and effective resolution of public grievances, strengthened crime control measures, and improved policing practices.
The ADG also emphasized the optimum use of CCTNS and other technological resources, directing police personnel to remain public-friendly, perform their duties with dedication, and uphold accountability and professional conduct. The inspection reflected the department’s commitment to efficient policing and better public service.
