Kanpur Nagar, Uttar Pradesh: Mr. Siddhant Seth brought laurels to the Uttar Pradesh Police by winning a gold medal at the All-India Police Weightlifting Cluster Championship 2026 held in Karnal, Haryana, from May 23 to May 27, 2026.
Siddhant secured first place by lifting 120 kg in the snatch event and 160 kg in the clean and jerk event. He also set a new championship record in the clean and jerk category with his 160 kg lift.
A national champion in 2023 as well, Siddhant’s remarkable achievement is a proud moment for the Uttar Pradesh Police and highlights the excellence of police personnel in sports at the national level.
