Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh: In a commendable initiative to promote police welfare and strengthen internal communication, Srikakulam District Police is conducting the “Dial Your SP – Police Grievances” programme every Friday, providing personnel with a direct platform to voice their concerns and seek timely solutions.
District Superintendent of Police K.V. Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, personally interacts with police personnel to understand issues related to service matters, family concerns, and personal difficulties. During the latest session held at the District Police Office, officers and staff from various police stations and units shared their grievances over the phone.
The SP patiently listened to each concern and immediately directed the concerned officials to take appropriate action for their resolution. He reiterated that all district police personnel can contact him directly every Friday between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. through the dedicated helpline to discuss their issues without fear or hesitation.
The initiative reflects the department’s commitment to the welfare of its personnel by ensuring that their concerns are heard and addressed promptly. By fostering open communication and responsive leadership, the programme aims to boost morale, improve workplace satisfaction, and enable police personnel to serve the public more effectively.
