Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu: While police were on patrol within the limits of the Thali police station in Krishnagiri district, they received a tip-off regarding the illegal possession of ganja near the Nagamma Temple, opposite Thali Lake on the Thali-Hosur Road. Acting swiftly on this information, the police conducted a search and found a man illegally holding approximately 4 kg of ganja intended for sale. The individual was arrested, and the contraband was seized; he was subsequently brought to the police station, where a case was registered, and he was remanded to judicial custody and imprisoned.
