Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh: In a proactive move to safeguard commuters during adverse weather conditions, the police have issued a traffic advisory urging the public to avoid roads affected by waterlogging until normal conditions are restored.
According to the advisory, waterlogging has been reported at several key locations, including Shrikant Verma Marg, Maharana Pratap Chowk, SBR College Lane, Gaurav Path, Idgah Chowk Marg, Masturi Marg, and Bharti Nagar Marg. Isolated instances of water accumulation have also been observed on Mungeli Naka Marg and Sarkanda Marg.
To prevent accidents, traffic congestion, and inconvenience to motorists, the police have advised citizens to use alternate routes and avoid travelling through the affected areas until the water level recedes. Traffic personnel have been deployed to regulate vehicular movement, assist road users, and ensure public safety in the affected locations.
