Dindigul, Tamil Nadu: Acting on the orders of Dindigul District SP Jayakumar and under the supervision of City DSP Karthik, a police team led by City North Police Station Inspector Vasanthkumar—along with Sub-Inspector Suriyakala—was conducting intensive patrols. Near the Kallarai Medu area on Trichy Road, they arrested six individuals who were plotting a robbery while armed with dangerous weapons, including knives. The arrested individuals are Balaji, Sundar, and Marutharaj from Thandalkaranpatti, and Gowtham, Sakthivel (alias ‘Muttakkan’ Sakthivel), and Vigneshwaran (alias Vishwa) from YMR Patti. The police have seized the dangerous weapons and are conducting an investigation.
