Medchal-Malkajgiri, Telangana: Malkajgiri Police have strengthened technology-driven policing with the induction of an advanced DJI Matrice 4T drone valued at ₹10 lakh, received under the TG QUEST initiative and generously donated by technology enthusiast Shri Harsha.
Equipped with artificial intelligence capabilities, thermal imaging, night surveillance and crowd-monitoring features, the drone will enhance preventive policing, intelligence gathering and situational awareness during police operations.
The aerial platform will also provide valuable support in search and rescue operations, particularly in difficult locations requiring rapid aerial assessment. It can assist police in monitoring large gatherings, detecting potential threats and responding more effectively to incidents.
Malkajgiri Police Commissioner Smt. B. Sumathi, IPS, appreciated Shri Harsha for his valuable contribution towards strengthening public safety through innovative technology.
