Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh: Sarkanda Police Station, in Bilaspur district have taken decisive action against the illegal transportation of banned cough syrup by arresting two accused, Mithun Baghel and Aman Kumar Chaubey.
Acting on information, police seized 520 bottles of banned Onerex cough syrup valued at ₹1,04,780, along with one car and three mobile phones used in connection with the offence.
Police have registered a case and launched further investigation. Efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the absconding accused, Raja Bhoi and Neeraj Patel.
The action reflects the commitment of Bilaspur Police to curb the illegal distribution of banned substances and protect the community from drug-related activities.
