Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh: Srikakulam District Collector Sri Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar, IAS, and District SP Sri K.V. Maheswara Reddy, IPS, participated in the second-day proceedings of the 8th District Collectors Conference held in Amaravati under the chairmanship of State Chief Minister Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
The conference reviewed several important issues concerning peace and public order, women and girls’ safety, drug control, road accident prevention and overall crime control across the state.
Chief Minister Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to adopt effective measures to control crime and strengthen the security of women and girls. He also emphasized strict action against the trafficking and use of drugs and called for coordinated efforts among departments to prevent road accidents.
The participation of the Srikakulam Collector and SP reflects the district administration and police department’s continued focus on public safety, effective law enforcement, women’s protection, drug prevention and coordinated crime-control measures.
