Medchal-Malkajgiri, Telangana: In view of the upcoming Ganesh Festival, ACP–Medipally B. Mohan Kumar, along with SHO–Medipally Sri D. Jalender Reddy, conducted an awareness meeting with Ganesh festival organisers at RTC Colony, Chengicherla.
During the meeting, the organizers were briefed on the mandatory online enrolment of Ganesh Mandapams, night-time security arrangements, prevention of damage and disturbances, and the importance of maintaining adequate safety measures at the venues.
Police officials also advised the organisers to keep sand, water and other emergency materials readily available and to strictly follow all prescribed safety and police guidelines during the Ganesh idol procession and immersion.
The Medipally Police emphasised that coordinated efforts by organisers, devotees and police personnel are essential for ensuring a safe, peaceful and disciplined Ganesh Festival. The police assured continued support and guidance to the organisers throughout the celebrations.
