North 24 Parganas, West Bengal: Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate reaffirmed its commitment to the “Nasha Mukt Bharat – Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh” initiative, promoting the vision of a healthier, stronger and drug-free India. The programme highlighted the importance of collective efforts to prevent substance abuse and create greater awareness among citizens, particularly the younger generation. Police emphasised the need for community participation, responsible citizenship and sustained awareness to combat the harmful effects of drugs.
