Dr. Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, IPS, Director General of Police/Head of Police Force (DGP/HoPF), Tamil Nadu, held a consultation meeting with senior officials from 11 leading banks. The meeting reviewed matters concerning the ‘Police Salary Package,’ specifically addressing 81 pending Permanent Accidental Insurance (PAI) claims (valued at ₹1 crore each for accidental death cases) and 250 Term Life Insurance (TLI) claims (valued at ₹10 lakh each). The meeting was convened to expedite the settlement of these insurance claims and ensure the timely disbursement of relief to the families of deceased police personnel.
