Alappuzha, Kerala: Aroor Police arrested a young man with MDMA during intensive inspections conducted across the state as part of Operation Toofan.
The operation was carried out by an investigation team led by Cherthala DySP Manju Lal and Aroor CI Ajay Mohan, under the direction of Alappuzha District Police Chief Vishnu Pradeep T.K., IPS.
The accused was apprehended with MDMA near his residence by a team led by Aroor SHO Abeesh. Police said the accused is involved in several criminal cases and is listed in the Aroor Police Station’s rowdy list.
SI Sajan, along with Senior CPOs Sreejith, Bijoy, Rikshobh and Ratheesh M, and CPOs Kiran, Jithin, Nithya, Shan and Prasha, participated in the operation.
Further investigation is underway to establish the source of the narcotic substance and determine whether others are involved. The action highlights the continued efforts of Alappuzha Police to combat drug trafficking and protect the community from narcotics-related activities.
