Alappuzha, Kerala: The Alappuzha District Social Policing Division organised ‘Pratheeksholsavam’, a special celebration for children participating in the Hope Project during the 2026–2027 academic year, along with ‘Vijayolsavam’, a felicitation programme honouring children who achieved success through the project during the previous academic year.
The programmes were held on January 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the District Police Training Centre, Alappuzha. The event was inaugurated by District Police Chief Vishnu Pradeep T.K., IPS.
Umesh Kumar J., Additional SP and District Nodal Officer (DNO) of the Social Policing Division, and Abhilash, Inspector in charge of Social Policing, offered felicitations and encouraged the children and their families.
As part of the programme, Mr. Thomas Wilson conducted an inspiring motivational session for the children and their parents, focusing on confidence, perseverance and the importance of pursuing educational goals.
The District Police Chief distributed mementos to children who achieved success through the Hope Project during the previous academic year, recognising their achievements and encouraging them to continue their educational journey with determination.
The initiative reflects the commitment of Alappuzha Police and the Social Policing Division towards supporting children through education, motivation and community-based interventions. Through the Hope Project, police continue to encourage young minds and strengthen their opportunities for a brighter future.
