North 24 Parganas, West Bengal: Bidhannagar Police organized a Durga Utsav 2026Coordination Meeting at the New Town Convention Centre to strengthen coordination and security arrangements for the upcoming celebrations.
The meeting was attended by Shri Piyush Kanoria, MLA, Rajarhat-New Town, Shri Rathod Amitkumar Bharat, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Bidhannagar, senior DC and ACP-level police officers, representatives of concerned departments and members of various local Durga Utsav committees.
Detailed discussions focused on mutual coordination, security arrangements, access management and orderly conduct of the celebrations. Police and departmental representatives reviewed measures to ensure a peaceful, safe and well-managed Durga Utsav.
The Durga Puja Guide Map was also unveiled, along with a focused review of entry points and security measures for public access.
The meeting reflects Bidhannagar Police’s proactive approach to festival security, inter-departmental coordination and public safety during Durga Utsav 2026.
