Dindigul, Tamil Nadu: An unidentified person attempted to snatch a 5-sovereign gold chain from the neck of Kamatchi (28), a resident of Kamatchipuram, Thadikombu, while she was walking near Meenakshi Bhavan, close to the Dindigul bus stand. Bystanders apprehended the suspect and handed him over to the Town North Police Station. Police, led by Town North Inspector Vasanthkumar, are investigating the incident.
