<![CDATA[Two persons were arrested on the charge of stealing a motorbike and then attempting to ship it in a goods auto rickshaw. Ramakrishnan and Babu, both natives of Kathrikadavu, were arrested after a night patrolling team of the Kadavanthra police stopped the auto and inspected the vehicle. The police told that they had stolen the bike of a Mattancherry native. When we stopped the vehicle near the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in the early hours of March 26, the two pushed us away and tried to flee. However, we gave them a chase and took them into custody. A separate case was lodged against the two for inflicting injury on civil police officer Mr.Ranjith during the scuffle.]]>
