<![CDATA[A 70 year old man who is a retired officer of the Department of Mines and Geology was arrested by the Anekal police for distributing pamphlets that had derogatory comments against a judge of the 3rd Additional Sessions Court. The accused, Krishna Reddy, 70, allegedly threatened to kill him. Krishna Reddy was spotted by the Bidadi police and arrested while distributing the pamphlets on Thursday. Preliminary investigations revealed that the judge had earlier pronounced an order against Reddy in a cheque bounce case. The accused was booked under several sections of the IPC, including criminal intimidation, and sections under the I-T Act.]]>
