<![CDATA[A shuffle among IPS officers has been effected by the State government on Tuesday with the shifting of the current Additional Commissioners of Chennai city, Mr. M.C. Sarangan and Mr. H.M. Jayaram and Inspector of General (IG), North Zone, Mr. C. Sridhar to other posts. Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Mr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav, Special Officer of Tamil Nadu Police Transport Corporation has been transferred and posted in the wing of Social Justice and Human Rights, Chennai. The ADGP Mr. Su. Arunachalam, Special Officer, Refugees Camp at Mandapam, Ramanathapuram, was transferred and posted in TN Police Transport Corporation. IG North Zone Mr. C. Sridhar was shifted to Crime Branch CID, Chennai and in his place, IG Training Mr. P.Nagarajan, has been posted. The IG Crime CID, Mr. Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, becomes the Additional Commissioner of Police, South, while its present incumbent Mr. M.C. Sarangan is posted as IG, Headquarters. In the same manner, IG, Establishment Mr. R. Dhinakaran becomes the Additional Commissioner of Police, North, and its present incumbent Mr. H.M. Jayaram has been shifted and posted as IG, Establishment. IG Crime Records Bureau Mr. Sumit Saran has been posted as IG, Enforcement. Ms. H. Jayalakshmi, Superintendent of Police, Western Range Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Chennai, was transferred and posted as SP, Commercial Crime Investigation Wing CID while Mr. Pakerla Cephas Kalyan was posted in her place. Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. P. Thangadurai was shifted from Crime and Traffic, Salem City, and posted as DC, Law and Order. The DC Ms. G. Subbalakshmi of Salem city was transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police, Social Justice and Human Rights, Chennai. Ms. M. Vijayalakshmi was posted as SP, Tamil Nadu Commando,Chennai. Ms. P.R. Venmathi was posted as Commandant, TN Special Police, Avadi while Ms. Vandita Pandey and Ms. C. Shyamala Devi have been transferred from their posts and posted as SP, Central Investigation Unit, Prohibition Offences and Deputy Commissioner, Crime and Traffic, Salem City.
