Mr. Pravesh Kumar, IPS launched a online Police Verification Service on Wednesday.
The new e-commerce service has been introduced yesterday. Accordingly, public and private companies can apply for personal information check, job verification, tenant’s description verification, home employee information verification through the Tamil Nadu Police website.
This online service was launched by the Vellore District Superintendent of Police, Mr.Pravesh Kumar, IPS on Wednesday.
Later, he told the reporters: The main purpose of the Police Verification Service is to identify weather the person is involved in any criminal activity on the basis of the documents of the current home address and to compare the documents maintained by the police department to verify if he is involved in any illegal activity? This will be used to verify the details. The details of residents of Tamil Nadu will be checked only through this service.
There is no need to approach the police station directly to apply through this online service. Reports after verification can also be downloaded from the website. The credibility can be verified using the code in this statement.
Complaint can be made through the website, even if there are errors in the service. The consent letter of the individual company collecting the details through this service will be based on the basis of a police verification report.
