Based on this information, Tmt.Vimala, Inspector of Police, Anti Child Trafficking Unit, Tr.Kesavan, Head Constable along with Tr.Aanandharaj, District child line coordinator, Tr.Boomainathan, District child welfare officer, Tr.Kanagaraj, member of child welfare department and Social welfare department officials went Devipattinam area to stop the child marriage of a 17 years old girl and rescued her. Both the families were warned by police officials and social welfare department. Then she was handed over to their parents.
