MOGA: In an abominable incident, a drunkard man with his accomplice allegedly killed his own wife. The odious crime took place at their residence on the night of Friday last week. The deceased Jyoti Rani sustained several injuries and succumbed to death. The preliminary investigation revealed that on Friday night, Balwant Singh and his friend Jassa Singh of Gholia Khurd village were consuming liquor at his house at Charik VIllage. The deceased, Jyoti tried to stop the duo from excessive liquor consumption. Her objection on drinks enraged the duo. Balwant allegedly attacked her with a sharp weapon and his friend too joined. Severe injury on her body led her to death on the spot. The aftermath of the crime, police have caught both Balwant Singh and Jassa Singh and documented a case of murder under relevant section of the Indian Penal code.]]>
