AHMEDABAD: Police registered an FIR against husband and a teenage daughter according to the complaint lodged by a woman aged 42 on Wednesday. The woman is an assistant manager with a corporate group and her husband works for the Gujarat Industrial Security Force.
The couple had married in 2003. Since then they had lived very decent life for about 16 years. But over the past four months her husband had started growing doubts on her of fidelity. He suspected her of having an affair with another man and snapped all ties with her. However, she had never tried to reveal his rude behaviour to anyone.
Slowly, the man got into drinking habits and started harassing her physically. He even threatened her of divorce and asked frequently to leave the house. When her husband physically assaulted her, her teenage daughter also supported him.
On Tuesday, the husband started to assault her physically telling his daughter that her mother is involved in an affair with another man. Then she also abused her and instigated her father to beat her.
Following the incident, the woman approached police station and filed a complaint against her and a daughter stating that they had been beating her for four months over the suspicions that she was involved in an affair with another man.
