Vijayawada City: Near the fish market under Patamata police station, a person upset by a family dispute jumped from the top of the Gulzar Bridge into the harbor canal, the Quick Response Team (QRT) constable Mr. Ramesh Garu, who was on duty there, immediately jumped into the canal and saved the person’s life.
Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata I.P.S. commended the constable Mr. Ramesh who saved lives with bravery and the staff who helped to bring the person out of the canal and honored him with a cash reward.
