Kerala, Kasaragod: Taufir, a resident of Pakyara in Uduma, was arrested by the Bekal police for attempting to kill a man after luring him to Pallam in Uduma under the pretense of returning borrowed money. The accused attacked the victim by striking him on the head with his hand and a soda bottle. The arrest was carried out by SI Ansar and CPOs Bineesh and Prasad, under the supervision of Bekal DYSP Manoj VV, following the instructions of Bekal Inspector Shine KP.
