Rachakonda: The Details of the Accused persons who were involved in lending Apps Fraud Case are as follows:
1) HE. Jian @ Mark S/o. HE. Qio Ming, Age: 26 years, R/o. Flat No. 701 & 702, Castalia-A block, Hiranandani Estate, Thane West, Maharashtra, N/0. Jiangxi, China.
2) Vivek Kumar, S/o. Vimal Kumar, Age: 26 years, Occ: Accountant Ajaya Solutions Pvt. Ltd. And Epoch Go Credit Solutions Pvt. Ltd., R/o. Patlipada, GB Road, Thane West, Maharashtra, N/0. Afzalpur Aswari Village, Rajatalab Post, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh State.
Cases have been registered by the Cybercrime, Rachakonda with CR. No. 1) 705/2020 U/S 417, 419, 420, 504, 506, 384 IPC & SEC. 66D IT Act of Cyber Crime Police Station, Rachakonda.
Rachakonda, Cybercrime police seized the following articles from the possession of the accused.
1) Laptops -4
2 Mobile phones-2
3) IPad-1
4) Apple Mini CPU-15)
5) Wi-Fi Router-1
6) Passport of HE. Jian issued by the People’s Republic of China,
7) China CITIC Bank Debit Card -1 & Stamps -03 Pertaining to Bienance Information Technology Pvt. Ltd., Ajay Solutions Pvt. Ltd., And Epoch Go Credit Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
In continuation of investigation regarding the Instant Loan Apps fraud case and based on the confession of previous arrested accused persons 1) Parusha Ram Lahu Takwe age 32 yrs Director of Jia Liang infotech Pvt Ltd, Pune., 2) Liang tian (a Chinese woman) w/o Parusharam Lahu Takwe age 34 yrs who monitors the staff/employees, and 3) Aquib Shaik age: 19 yrs, HR manager Jiya Liang Infotech Pvt Ltd Pune Maharastra, the Modus Operandi adopted by the accused persons are; operating a call center at Pune for providing services to Instant Loan Apps companies
1) Ajaya Solutions Pvt Ltd Thane Mumbai, 2) Bienance information technology Pvt Ltd, 3) Epoch Go Credit Solutions Pvt. Ltd GB Road, Thane West, Maharashtra, 4) Truthigh fintech Pvt Ltd. and other companies.
The accused HE. Jian @ Mark came to India in July 2019 on a business Visa and joined as a representative on behalf of Chinese nationals Xu Nan, Xu Xinchang and Zhao Qiao who are the Directors of the above said Microfinance loan apps companies. Also, they appointed an India Director Ankur Singh. Their companies are providing Instant Online microloans with a high rate of interests to the borrowers through ‘online loan apps’ like 1)Krazy bean 2) Krazy rupee 3) Cashplus 4) Rupee Pro 5) Gold bowl 6) First Cash 7) Real rupee/Rupee Bear 8) Rupee most 9)First cash 10) Credit rupee 11) Cool Cash 12) Money now 13) Pocket rupee 14) Rupee day 15) Cash goo 16) Cash star, 17) Cash Bowil, 18) Cash Kush, 19) Cool Rupee, 20) Money Rupee, 21) Gold Rupee, 22) Money Helper, 23) R-Cash, 24) Money Bell, Etc. In the initial stage they run the call centers at Thane to recover the loan amounts after that they made an agreement with Jiya liyan Infotech Pvt Ltd Pune to recover the loan amounts from the borrowers. The above said companies did not have any valid licenses registered with RBI to run the NBFC business based on Online applications. These applications are developed in such a way that on installing these Apps by the borrowers get axis the contacts, mobile information, and other data on the device of the borrowers. After one week of sanctioning the loan, the customer data they provide to their tie upped call Centre Jiya Liang InfoTech Pvt. Ltd., for calling the borrowers for the repayment the loan dues. If any borrower neither responded nor paid, they issued instructions to Jiya Liang Infotech Pvt. Ltd., to start abuse the borrowers and threaten them to repay the due amounts through phone calls. As per their instructions, the call center staff were making calls to the borrowers and their relatives, friends and insisting them to repay the loan amounts along with abnormal interest added by the company. If anyone not cleared the dues even repeated calls, as per their instructions the call center staff created Whatsapp groups with the contact numbers of the borrowers and post borrower’s photos, ID proofs, fake legal notices, and also abusive comments and voice messages to that Whatsapp group as the borrower is a defaulter, chor, etc. Due to recent developments and Police raids all over India on Call centers, to escape and Avoid Police Raids all their offices were closed.
On a piece of reliable information, a special team lead by Inspectors Mr. B. Prakash and Mr. Vijaykumar proceeded to Thane Maharashtra and apprehended the accused persons 1)HE. Jian 2)Vivek Kumar, produced before the local Jurisdictional Court, Thane, and brought to Hyderabad on Transit Warrant and being produced before the Hon’ble Court for judicial custody.
So far Debit froze a number of Rs. 30 Crores in the Bank accounts of the above companies and some more bank accounts to be verified.
The Rachakonda Police have given the following tips that need to be adapted to protect yourself from such frauds:
- Never download any instant loan apps without verifying their licenses issued by government authorities
- Never download any app that asks to give access to the contacts, files, photo gallery, etc.
Under the Direct Supervision and Leadership of Mr. Mahesh. M. Bhagwat, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, with the guidance of Mr. P. Yadagiri, DCP Crimes, and Mr. D.Srinivas, Addl. DCP Crimes, Mr. S. Harinath, Asst. Commissioner of Police the case investigated by Mr. B. Prakash Inspector of Cyber Crimes detected the case with Technical evidence.
