Jharkhand: The Eastern Regional Bureau’s Most Wanted 15 lakh prize Maoist was arrested. He was a Hardcore Naxalite Regional Committee member namely Deepak alias Karu Yadav was synonymous with panic in Hazaribagh and Chatra district’s frontier area.
Many murders over a period of 17 years, along with levy extortion, had led to the incident of encounter with the police. His existence was resulting in a hindrance to the development of the society in remote areas. This was a big success for the Jharkhand Police towards eradication of extremism.
