Dindigul: Murugeswari (88) of Charakam State Bank Colony, Pattiveeranpatti Police Station, Dindigul District, was spraying the door in front of her house in the early hours of last (07.09.2022), when two persons on a two-wheeler snatched 3 Soverign gold chains from her neck. Similarly, three persons on a two-wheeler took away 1/2 Soverign gold chain from Panchavarnam of Sidthiyankot village in Sembatti Police Charakam.
While special teams were formed and searched was conducted to catch the criminals involved in these two incidents, Sub Inspector. Mr.Kannakanthi, Nilakottai Utkota special forces arrested the three accused Prabhat (22), Idukki, Kerala, Yasin (23), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, Sumit Mohanan (18), Upultara, Kerala along with a two-wheeler in Chennai and brought them to Pattiveeranpatti police station. Steps are being taken to take them into judicial custody.
